Why $599 and not $200
A $200 a month service is usually software that sorts your bank feed, with nobody reconciling the accounts or filing your sales tax. For $599 a named bookkeeper closes your books every month, a senior accountant checks the numbers before your call, and your sales tax goes in on time. A clean-up of overdue books is often quoted at $5,000 or more on its own. Here it costs nothing when you start.

Straight answers before you book
Is the clean-up really free?
Yes. The free cleanup of past books comes when you start monthly bookkeeping with us. It is not sold on its own. The fee for the monthly work is agreed in writing on the first call, before we start.
Is the clean-up free if we switch from another bookkeeper?
Yes. If you move your monthly bookkeeping to us from another bookkeeper or firm, we clean up all your past books in QuickBooks Online at no charge, however many months they are behind. It comes with monthly bookkeeping, from $599 a month, month to month.
How far back do you go?
As far back as your books need. The free look shows you how far behind things are before you commit to anything.
Do we need to be on QuickBooks Online?
Yes. The clean-up and the monthly bookkeeping are done in QuickBooks Online. Moving from another system is a separate job, quoted on the call.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
Small businesses in the US that run their books in QuickBooks Online: service companies, contractors, shops and other owner-run businesses.
Who actually does the work?
A named bookkeeper on our team handles your account every month, and a senior accountant reviews the numbers before your monthly call.
How do you get access?
You add us as an accountant user in QuickBooks. You can remove us at any time.
Is our data safe with you?
Every login our team uses for a client system has two-factor authentication turned on. Access comes through the user you grant, not shared passwords.
I already have a CPA.
Good. We clean up and keep the monthly books, your CPA does the tax return, and we send them clean, reconciled books at year-end.
Do you run payroll or pay our bills?
Not in this plan. It covers the books, sales tax, your reports, the dashboard and the monthly call.
What if it does not work out?
The monthly service is month to month. The terms, including the clean-up, are set out in writing before we start. You keep your QuickBooks file and your data.
