Every plan is a fixed fee agreed in writing, month to month. There is no separate clean-up or catch-up fee and no limit on how many months we go back: the free cleanup of past books comes with every plan.

After a call (15 minutes by phone, or 30 on Teams), we take a free look at your books and show you where they stand within three business days. Then we agree the fee in writing. It stays the same every month.

How much does Books and Trucks charge?
Books and Trucks charges from $599 a month for monthly bookkeeping on QuickBooks Online, and from $995 a month on the ServiceTitan plan, which adds the ServiceTitan to QuickBooks reconciliation and job costing. Every plan is month to month, and all your past books are cleaned up free when monthly bookkeeping starts. We keep the books for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trade businesses, not trucking companies.
What do the starting prices cover?
The QuickBooks plan starts at $599 a month for the monthly books, reconciliation, reports, sales tax filings, the dashboard and the monthly call. The ServiceTitan plan starts at $995 a month and adds the monthly ServiceTitan to QuickBooks reconciliation and job costing, for a shop of about five trucks. On Jobber, Jobber Books starts at $599 a month: the same work as the QuickBooks plan, plus Jobber payouts, fees and tips matched to the bank and a monthly sync check. Jobber Books Pro starts at $995 a month and adds job costing, payroll and bill pay.
How does that compare with hiring a bookkeeper?
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the median pay of a bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerk at $50,670 a year in 2025, about $4,220 a month, before payroll taxes, benefits and time off. Our plans start at $599 a month on QuickBooks Online and $995 a month with ServiceTitan, and a senior accountant reviews your numbers every month.
How do you set our exact fee?
After a call (15 minutes by phone, or 30 on Teams), we take a free look at your books with read-only access and show you, within three business days, where they are behind or do not match. Then we agree the fee in writing before any work starts. It stays the same every month unless the work changes and we both agree.
Is there a contract?
No long contract. Every plan is month to month, and you can cancel any time. You keep your QuickBooks file and your data.
Our books are months behind. Does the clean-up cost extra?
No. The free cleanup of past books comes with every plan. When you start monthly bookkeeping on any plan, we clean up all your past books in QuickBooks Online at no charge, however far back they go.
Which plan is right for us?
If your jobs, invoices and payments live in ServiceTitan, it is the ServiceTitan plan, because the two systems need checking against each other every month. If you run the business in QuickBooks Online, it is the QuickBooks plan. If you run Jobber with QuickBooks Online, it is Jobber Books, or Jobber Books Pro when you also want job costing, payroll and bill pay.
Can we add payroll to the QuickBooks plan?
Not today. Payroll and bill pay come with the ServiceTitan plan and with Jobber Books Pro. The QuickBooks plan covers the books, reports, sales tax filings and the dashboard.
Does the fee include our tax return?
No. We do the monthly books and your CPA does the tax return. We send your CPA clean, reconciled books at year-end.
