Drain cleaning
Bookkeeping for drain cleaning companies on QuickBooks Online.
The Books and Trucks QuickBooks plan is monthly bookkeeping for drain cleaning companies on QuickBooks Online from $599 a month: every bank and card account reconciled, sales tax filed, monthly reports, an owner dashboard and a monthly call.
Booked calls: weekdays, 9am to 5pm Eastern. By phone, or 30 minutes on Teams.
We run the monthly bookkeeping for trades companies on QuickBooks Online. Every account reconciled, sales tax filed, and a dashboard you can open any morning.
Books behind? We clean up all your past books at no charge when you start.
- Fee fixed in writing, month to month
- You keep your QuickBooks file
- Books closed and reconciled every month
Three things owners say to us on the first call
“I do the books on Sunday night, when I do them at all.”
“My CPA sends me a list of questions every spring.”
“The bank balance is the only number I trust.”
This is normal for a growing trades shop. It is also fixable, and it stays fixed once someone owns it every month.

Your books stay in your QuickBooks
We work inside your own QuickBooks Online file, not in a system of ours. You invite us as an accountant user, and you can take that access away any time from Manage users. If you ever leave, nothing has to be exported or rebuilt. The file, the history and the reports are yours and stay where they are.
- You invite us. You can remove us any time.
- An invited accountant does not count toward your QuickBooks user limit.
- Every login our team uses has two-factor authentication turned on.
- Month to month. You keep the file and the data.
From $599 a month
That covers everything above: bookkeeping, bank and card reconciliation, monthly reports, sales tax filings, your dashboard and the monthly call. The fee is fixed each month and agreed in writing on the first call, before we start. If your books are behind, we clean up all your past books in QuickBooks at no charge when you start.
Why $599 and not $200
A $200 a month service is usually software that sorts your bank feed, with nobody reconciling the accounts or filing your sales tax. For $599 a named bookkeeper closes your books every month, a senior accountant checks the numbers before your call, and your sales tax goes in on time. A clean-up of overdue books is often quoted at $5,000 or more on its own. Here it costs nothing when you start.
Not in this plan: payroll and paying your supplier bills.
Each trade has its own page with the questions owners in that trade ask: HVAC bookkeeping, plumbing bookkeeping, electrical bookkeeping, roofing bookkeeping, septic and pumping bookkeeping, drain cleaning bookkeeping, general contractors bookkeeping and lawn care and landscaping bookkeeping.

Straight answers before you book
Do I have to leave QuickBooks?
No. We work inside your QuickBooks Online file. You keep ownership and full access.
Who actually does the work?
A named bookkeeper on our team handles your account every month, and a senior accountant reviews the numbers before your monthly call.
How do you get access?
You add us as an accountant user in QuickBooks. You can remove us at any time.
Is our data safe with you?
Every login our team uses for a client system has two-factor authentication turned on. Access comes through the user you grant, not shared passwords.
I already have a CPA.
Good. We do the monthly books, your CPA does the tax return, and we send them clean, reconciled books at year-end.
My books are a mess right now.
Most new clients start that way. The free look shows how far behind things are. When you start with us, we clean up all your past books in QuickBooks at no charge, however far back they go.
We use other software to run jobs.
That is fine. We work from your QuickBooks file, whatever you use to schedule and invoice.
Do you run payroll or pay our bills?
Not in this plan. It covers the books, sales tax, your reports, the dashboard and the monthly call.
What if it does not work out?
Month to month, cancel any time. You keep your QuickBooks file and your data.
Get your evenings back. We’ll keep the books.
No obligation.
